Dr. Susan Myers Fitch, Ph.D., earned her doctorate at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), specializing in molecular biology and genetics. Her passion has always been to combine her knowledge in the sciences with her penchant for art-making. Dr. Myers Fitch obtained undergraduate and Masters degrees in medical and scientific illustration at the Ohio State University (OSU), producing illustrations for medical textbooks, patient leaflets and hospital education programs. At Preventative Medicine Inc., Dr. Myers Fitch consults with Dr. Moayed and her patients, to help them understand their unique genetics, and to develop a personalized wellness plan that may include therapeutic art-making sessions. She can also provide wellness coaching to help patients stay connected to their own wellness goals. Art therapy is a large part of her own wellness routine; she practices drawing and oil painting nearly every day, and she contributes these skills to Dr. Moayed's practice.
